What personal information we collect when you order or contact us, how we use it, who it is shared with, and your choices.
Last updated: July 21, 2026
This policy explains how Elysium Bio Labs collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you use this website, submit an inquiry, or place an order. By using the site or ordering, you consent to the practices described here.
Order and contact details: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), organization (if provided), and shipping address (street, city, province, postal code, country).
Order details: the products, quantities, and options you select, order totals, any order notes, your research-use acknowledgement, payment status, and Interac e-transfer reconciliation information used to match your payment to your order.
Shipping details: the shipping service selected, estimated carrier rates, and any Canada Post tracking number associated with your shipment.
Inquiry details: your inquiry category, any material or batch reference, your message, and (if enabled) any files you choose to attach.
Technical and security information: IP address, information used for spam prevention (including a hidden honeypot field) and rate limiting, your local browser cart storage, and standard technical/server logs. The cart is stored in your browser's local storage, not on our servers, until you place an order.
First-party usage measurement: to understand how the site is used and to improve it, we record anonymous usage data — pages viewed and the research materials added to a cart, including carts that are not completed. This is tied only to a random identifier stored in your browser's local storage; it contains no name, IP address, or device fingerprint, and it is not linked to your identity unless and until you place an order. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking, and this measurement is disabled automatically when your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal.
Incomplete-order reminders: if you begin checkout and enter your email address but do not complete the order, we keep that address with your saved cart so we can send you a single reminder about the order you started (this is disclosed beside the email field). Each reminder identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe link; once you unsubscribe, no further reminders are sent. The address is not used for any other marketing, and it is deleted with the cart record.
We use your information to review, accept or decline, process, and fulfil orders; to match Interac e-transfer payments to orders; to arrange and track shipping; to respond to inquiries and support requests; to prevent fraud and abuse; to keep business records; and to comply with applicable law.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
We share information with service providers only as needed to run the business, including: our website hosting/infrastructure provider, our transactional email delivery provider, and the shipping carrier.
To ship your order, your name and shipping address are provided to the carrier (Canada Post) so it can deliver the package and provide tracking. We therefore cannot state that no third party receives your information — carriers necessarily do.
Payment is made by Interac e-transfer directly through your own bank; we do not collect or store credit-card or full banking details through this website.
We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Some service providers may store or process information on servers located outside your province or outside Canada. Where that occurs, the information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions.
We keep order and transaction records for approximately 7 years for accounting, tax, and legal-record purposes, and inquiry correspondence for approximately 2 years, unless a longer period is required by law.
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards — including transport encryption (HTTPS), server-side validation, rate limiting, and restricted staff access — to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information you have provided, and you may withdraw consent to non-essential uses. Withdrawing consent needed to process an order may mean we cannot fulfil it. To make a request, contact us at info@elysiumbiolabs.com.
Privacy questions and requests can be sent to info@elysiumbiolabs.com. We may update this policy from time to time; the "last updated" date reflects the most recent revision, and material changes take effect when posted.
